“We are using the SMARTSQUARE system in both our hall for examinations and gym for large scale events such as  prizegiving’s and it works really well and transforms our spaces.

We had a fire in our technology block which took (effectively) 12 months + to get back in operation. I converted our hall (the barn) into a tech space and when it came time for NCEA for our 300+ students at the close of the year I needed to use our gym. The impact of chairs, desks, shoes, on our floor and noise in a big space were significant issues.

I contacted MoE for support here – and the net outcome is that we received some “carpet tile” SMARTSQUARE flooring; able to be laid in an hour or so; and uplifted equally so. The impact for an examinations center, and thence final assembly, prizegiving forum was outstanding. We have used it subsequently without a hitch.”
